“Coaching helped me discover who I am, find direction for my future, and believe in myself again. For the first time in a long time, I’m excited about where my life is headed.”

If Your Young Adult Seems Stuck or Unsure What's Next...
âś” They seem unmotivated or unsure about their future
âś” They're struggling to build confidence, find their people, or feel like they belong
âś” College isn't going as hoped, or they're questioning their major, career path, or next step
âś” You see their potential, but they don't seem to see it yet
And you keep wondering:
“Are they going to figure this out?”
“How do I help without pushing them away?”
We understand. We're parents too.
We know how hard it is to watch your child struggle and not know when to step in or step back.
And we've learned that more advice or pressure usually isn't the answer. Real change begins when young adults discover who they are, what they want, and how to move forward for themselves.

Discover Who You Are. Create Your Direction. Become Who You Want to Be.
Our life coaching for young adults and college students doesn't start by telling them what to do. It starts by helping them understand who they are, create their own direction, and build the confidence and ownership to move forward.

Discover who you are.
âś” Identify your strengths, values, passions, and what matters most
âś” Build confidence by understanding who you are and what makes you unique
âś” Make more confident choices about relationships, college, career, and what's next
Know yourself. Find your path, your people, and your purpose.
Pillar 2: Direction & Purpose
Create a vision for your future.
âś” Gain clarity around college, career, and life direction
âś” Explore majors, careers, internships, interests, and opportunities that fit who you are
âś” Turn your vision into meaningful goals and a clear path forward
Know where you're going, why it matters, and what comes next.
  Pillar 3: Action & Ownership
Become who you want to be.
âś” Build healthy habits, routines, and structure
âś” Strengthen focus, resilience, and follow-through
âś” Develop greater confidence, ownership, and independence
Turn who you want to become into how you show up every day.

Meet Erin Verdis & Chris Adang
Founders of Extraordinary Purpose
Parents of four. Life coaches for young adults, college students, and families.
We're Erin and Chris, founders of Extraordinary Purpose, parents of four, and coaches with more than 20 years of combined experience supporting 1,000+ teens, young adults, parents, and families.
We understand this stage personally, too. We're raising teens and young adults ourselves, so we know how hard it can be to watch your child struggle and wonder when to step in, when to step back, and how to truly help.
Erin holds degrees in Psychology and Human Development and brings more than 15 years of coaching and mentoring experience. She helps young women build confidence, self-trust, emotional resilience, and belief in who they're becoming.
Chris brings a background in coaching, leadership, career development, and mentoring young professionals. He's helped hundreds of young people discover their strengths, explore meaningful career paths, build confidence, and learn how to communicate what makes them unique.
Together, we created the Extraordinary Purpose Framework to help young adults discover who they are, create their direction, and develop the confidence and ownership to lead their own lives.
Because we don't believe young adults need to be fixed. They need someone in their corner who sees their potential, believes in who they're becoming, and helps them discover the path for themselves.
