How to help our Teens and Young Adults Expand Their Limits and Explore Their Potential

Our kids are freaking amazing. They are smart, talented, and brimming with potential. We want the absolute best for them. To do things that nobody thought was possible. They are going to be happy, successful, have lots of friends, and ultimately move into a future of endless possibilities. Aspirational? Hell yes, and it's the only way we set our kids up for everything that they are fully capable of.

Our powerful first step is to have the unwavering belief that all of that (and anything) is possible. They can be anything and do anything they want. Anything! Because with this belief there are no walls and ceilings that will hold them back. Just endless space for them to learn, move, grow, and thrive. Space for them to figure out who they are really are, and just how far they can go. Space for them to fill up with their own creativity and imaginations.

Creating that environment to support that belief can happen in so many different ways. You can help them get curious about and notice their talents and strengths, help them develop a habit of reading, learning, and questioning things, help them not only learn something, but challenge them to always go deeper. Only there can they connect with the things that will help them see who the really are. We do that, and we not only change our child's lives, but we change the world.
